Gala of Hope

After many robust discussions this week, the Island Hospital Foundation Board of Directors and Gala Planning Committee, in consultation with Charles Hall, CEO, unanimously decided to voluntarily postpone the Wonderland Gala of Hope. After exploring venue availability and opportune dates, that Gala of Hope will be postponed until April 2021. We share your disappointment. This decision did not come easy, but we are confident that postponing the Gala is the responsible decision and is consistent with Island Hospital’s commitment to community health.

What’s Next?

In lieu of the Gala of Hope, a new fundraising event will take place later this year. A small planning committee is already underway securing details for this new event. We will communicate details as soon as we are able.

If you have already purchased Gala tickets or sponsorship, we will contact you to discuss converting your contribution to a donation, supporting a different event later this year, or receiving a refund.

Continuing Your Mission

Just as Island Hospital is charged with keeping patients, staff, visitors and the community safe, we are charged with preserving and expanding quality healthcare close to home. Now more than ever, the mission of Island Hospital Foundation must go on.  Please consider donating what you would have spent to attend the Gala of Hope.
